PINK DREAMER

Dreams begin long before we understand what they are. They show up quietly in childhood, disguised as playful, impossible ideas - wanting to be a flamingo, a superhero, a dancer on the moon. They don’t arrive with logic or practicality; they arrive with feeling. At that stage, they aren’t about careers or outcomes, they are about curiosity, identity, and the pure instinct to become something more.

As we grow, the shape of our dreams changes. Life adds layers — responsibility, fear, expectation and the bright, simple dreams of childhood often become more “reasonable.” We edit them, soften them, or sometimes silence them altogether. But the truth is, those early dreams were never silly. They were signals. They were the first whispers of who we are and what moves us.

Dreams are not fixed destinations; they evolve as we do. What matters is not whether we still want the same things, but whether we continue to listen. That quiet voice  the one that nudges us toward change, growth, or something that feels just out of reach  is still there. Ignoring it doesn’t make it disappear; it only makes life feel smaller.

To dream is to move forward. It is how we stretch beyond our current reality and imagine something different. And yet, so many people become frightened of pursuing their dreams worried about judgment, failure, or simply being misunderstood. But dreams are not asking for perfection; they are asking for attention. For courage. For space.

Just as important as listening to our own dreams is being heard by others. To share a dream — especially one that feels fragile or uncertain — requires trust. When we are listened to, without dismissal or ridicule, something powerful happens: our dreams gain strength. They begin to feel possible.

So even if your dreams have changed, even if they no longer look like the ones you held as a child, they still matter. They are still guiding you. Don’t be afraid of them. Don’t outgrow them. And never underestimate the quiet, persistent role they play in shaping the life you are becoming.

Because somewhere inside every “silly” dream was never the idea itself — it was the beginning of you.
